If there are people who say that it is not your job the one that causes you depression, it is your mind; others state that they truly understand why you consider that your workplace is making you feel miserable. Numerous people are stressed out because of their workplace and they do not know how to handle this situation. What the majority of employers seem to not understand is that happy workers are more efficient workers, and if they are happy at their workplace their performance will reach maximum points.

Emma Jones states that she worked as a secretary for 10 years and she was depressed because of her work for around 7 years. She needed that job, because she had to pay her rent, but when we asked her what career she wanted to have, she simply stated “My entire life I wanted to design clothes”. But we all know that it is quite difficult to make a living from being a fashion designer. Because she longed for another career, she started experiencing anxiety and depression, conditions that affected not only her personal life, but her professional life also.

One day she was fired and finding another job was not easy, considering that she was a secretary for such a long period. She was also fighting depression at that time, so she was not able to get through interviews, because every employer understood that she was not able to perform how they would want. What caused her depression at work?

She had no personal life

She was a secretary, so she was caught up in a busy schedule and she had no time for focusing on her relationships. She had no breaks in her work and when at home, she was so depressed she was not in the mood to get involved in activities that would offer her the opportunity to bond. She understood this when she entered a holistic rehab.

She was feeling trapped in her work

As stated before she has always desired to build a career in the fashion industry, but because she was working extensively, she did not have time to focus on her passion. She reached a point when she considered that she would spend the rest of her life behind her desk at the office. And even if she worked extensively, she was not financially satisfied and she felt trapped in her work. Experts from luxury rehabs state that the majority of people who fight depression caused by their work have this feeling.

She simply hated her colleagues

The worst part of her job was the fact that she hated her colleagues. She spent the most of her time with them, and this made her feel worse and it accentuated her depression. She did not receive support from them, and she could not work with them in the harmony she needed. When at work, she felt like she was always in conflict with someone.

What she says now about her experience? “I always considered that a job cannot cause you depression. I was so wrong!”

A closer look at the statistics is enough to understand that the teens of America have a problem with drugs. A significant percent of 8th graders have tried marijuana. An even greater number of adolescents have used ecstasy. The majority of new drug users are teens. They are introduced to drug use by means of prescriptions and start to use the substances on a regular basis. Why do they experiment with illegal substances anyway? Well, there are many reasons. Keep on reading to find out what are the reasons for consuming drugs.

Everyone’s doing it

Very few people aren’t doing drugs these days. It’s only normal to want to know why illegal substances are so popular. After all, they aren’t that addictive. They are. People fail to understand the way in which drugs affect the brain. The brain reaches a certain tolerance level as far as the stimulation is concerned and it wants more and more. Getting back on topic, many teens are doing drugs nowadays. Why don’t they drink or eat as much as they can? Because using recreational drugs is a lot more fun.

Doing drugs isn’t seen as a weakness of character. They are the epitome of cool, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that children grow up thinking that drug consumption is interesting. Many youngsters give in to peer pressure. The outcome is that adolescents try narcotics in spite of the fact that they know the consequences of doing so can be devastating and that holistic rehabs to stay sober work a lot to make things right. Friends challenge one another to snort a line of coke. Youngsters are introduced to illegal substances at parties and almost everywhere they go. it’s understandable why they can’t fight temptation.

Boredom

Adolescents get bored quite easily. This is largely due to the fact that they have a limited attention span. And that they don’t have a care in the world. Even when nobody is pressuring them to consume drugs, they do it anyway. Can you guess why? Because they are looking for a way to cure boredom. Boredom and substance abuse is a dangerous combination. Youngsters who are disinterested most of the time significantly increase their chances for substance abuse by 50 percent. This is what the experts from Columbia University say. Teens simply don’t care about the risk factors and do opiates for the fun of it. When they form a drug addiction, their parents desperately seek ibogaine treatment that can improve depression. Now, isn’t this sad?

Access to false or inaccurate information

When it comes down to recreational drugs, there is a great deal of misinformation. Teens have one friend or more who claims that they are an expert and know what they are talking about. Unfortunately, adolescents have access to the wrong kind of information. They are completely unaware of how dangerous it can be to take drugs. They are under the impression that harmful consequences mean constipation or digestive issues. Harmful outcomes of doing opiates include seizures, problems with memory, and alteration of brain chemistry. Obviously, youngsters know nothing of this and that is because they haven’t received drug abuse education.
